I will never forget the first time I met Alexis, when Mrs. Wright asked me to help her get settled on her first day of school. She was wearing a blue dress with a matching headband, and we were instantly friends. When she walks into a room, sunshine pours in. She just has this way of bringing happiness to people, unlike any other person I've ever met. Even after six years, I still find myself thinking about our unsuccessful attempt at a lemonade stand, our talent show skit, our frequent sleepovers, and other flashes of time spent together.
Her vivaciousness and creative talent will get her far in life, and I hope we can see each other again soon.
